Delete Account & Data

This page explains how to request deletion of your account and data on LBSouq: the lbsouq.com website and the LBSouq Android app (both use the same account).

In short: send us a deletion request from the email or number registered on your account. We confirm that you own the account, then permanently delete it with all of its products, photos and orders within 30 days at most (usually within days), and send you a confirmation.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

1. Shop owners and individual sellers

Send the request with the button below or through the contact page, giving your shop or listing name and your registered email. Ideally, send it from the email or WhatsApp number registered on the account.
We verify ownership: we may ask for a confirmation from the email registered on the account, so nobody else can delete your shop.
We delete the account within 30 days at most after verification and send you a confirmation.

Before deleting: save any photos or details you want to keep. You can also ask us for a copy of your account data before it is deleted. If you have an active paid plan, it ends with the account. Contact us before deleting if you have questions about it.

Deleting only some of your data (keeping the account)

Specific products or photos: delete them from the seller dashboard at any time, which removes their files from our servers.
Instagram connection: seller dashboard → “Import from Instagram” → “Disconnect” deletes the access token immediately.
Phone number on listings (individual sellers): you can hide it and receive offers through the form instead.
Editing details: most shop details can be edited directly under “Shop details”.

2. Buyers

Buyers don't need an account, but we keep your order details (name, phone, address, and location if you shared it). To have them deleted, send the phone number you used, the shop name and the approximate order date. We will delete your details from our records within 30 days at most.

Note: the shop you ordered from is independent and may keep its own copy of your order or your WhatsApp chat with it. Contact the shop directly to have those deleted.

3. What is deleted

When a shop or individual seller account is deleted, we permanently delete:

Shop and account details: name, email, phone numbers, address, map location, logo and cover, texts, sign-ins and passwords.
All products and listings with their photos, videos, every resized copy and share images.
Orders the shop received and the buyer details in them, price offers received, and reports on its products.
The Instagram connection token, video studio projects and their files, plan add-ons, notice read-receipts and the import log.

4. What is kept, and for how long

Anything other people shared or copied outside the Platform (WhatsApp chats, shared links and images, search engine caches) is outside our control and may remain for a while after deletion.
